Shen Wei Tian Tai Shan is located on No. 81, Sanmin Street, Sinliao Village, Liouguei Township, Kaohsiung County, with an area of about 775 acres. It is the shrine of I Guan Dao ( Religion of One Unity ) in Taiwan, and is surrounded by branches of the Jade Mountains; Dagongzhan Mountain and Eighteen Louhan Mountain of Tainan County. A basin was created, as a result. The Yuanbao River skirts the Mount.
Two fortunate geographical scenes, the carp cave and immortals on cranes, therefore, were created. Hills around the Mount undulate through the mountains covered by green trees. Tian Tai Shan is enclosed by the hills on one side, and water on the other, forming a picturesque landscape. When people walk on the Mount, they naturally will feel its vastness and quietness. It is an excellent place for people to enter into meditation.

The guiding principle of the overall plan for Tian Tai Shan is to develop it into an internationalized comprehensive shrine, as well as an educational shrine with openness, health, and leisure. In addition, it will be a shrine where tens of thousands of people pay religious homage. Its main building contains the magnificent and resplendent front hall, mid hall, and back hall. Buildings as tourist and leisure spots are also included. The overall construction is slated to be completed at the end of 2006, which will help visitors understand the history of I Guan Dao. The whole construction will form an internationalized comprehensive shrine in Tian Tai Shan. |
